On January 11,2020 Girls In Tech Nepal conducted a career counselling event for Female Students at the most prestigious engineering institution in Nepal- Pulchowk Engineering College, where the prime discussion was career prospects for all girls pursuing their undergraduate Engineering degree.
At the event, Girls were also introduced to the evolving scope of Cloud Computing and the wide career horizon it provides and a $100 Amazon Educate credit was provided to all the attending students to kickstart their cloud computing journey.
Along with the core committee of Girls In Tech-Nepal, three other diverse and amazing women leaders Ms.Rumee Singh, Dr.Dovan Rai and Ms.Bahar Kumar were also present at the event who shared their life stories and highlighted diverse career options available.
