We are seeking for Assistant Manager | Business Development and Sales for being responsible for helping the organization obtain better brand recognition and financial growth. Along with coordinating with company executives and sales & marketing professionals to review current market trends to propose new business ideas that can improve revenue margins.

Reports to: Director | Business Development and Sales

Location: Bakhundole, Lalitpur, Nepal

Shift: Standard (09:00 AM to 06:00 PM) from Monday to Friday

Position Overview

Assistant Manager | Business Development and Sales will be responsible for helping organizations obtain better brand recognition and financial growth. He/she is responsible for coordinating with company executives and sales & marketing professionals to review current market trends in order to propose new business ideas that can improve revenue margins.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Sales and Marketing

    1. Builds market position by locating, developing, defining, and closing business relationships.
    2. Identifies trendsetter ideas by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements.
    3. Develop business and marketing plans in coordination with the  Chief Executive Officer to achieve revenue goals.
    4. Increasing the value of current customers while attracting new ones.
    5. Assesses new business opportunities on a consistent basis, including completing book of business reviews, responding to new business inquiries and requests for proposals, and maintaining territory/focus lists. Drives team member accountability and participation.
    6. Develops negotiating strategies and positions by studying integration of new ventures with company strategies and operations.
    7. Developing goals for the development team and business growth and ensure they are met.
    8. Maintains timely, accurate and complete sales administration tasks as determined by the business.
    9. Generate a weekly report of achievements, setbacks and action plan over the month priority and targeted account and Monthly Run Rate (MRR).
    10. Examines risks and potentials for the business opportunities.
    11. Estimates partners’ needs and goals.
    12. Protects the organization’s value by keeping information confidential.

    Relationship Management

    1. Attend conferences, meetings and industry events.
    2. Liaise with the finance team departments as appropriate
    3. Train, coach and/or mentor other team members.
    4. Evaluates options and resolves internal priorities.
    5. Keep proper lead records and use office productivity tools for coordination and collaboration within the department and outside.
    6. work strategically – carrying out necessary planning in order to implement operational changes.
    7. Any other job assigned by the line manager.
Skills and Qualifications
    • Task-Related Skills and Certifications 
    1. Master’s degree in business, marketing or a related field
    2. At least 4 years’ experience in a managerial position.
    • Competencies and Soft Skills 
    1. Knowledge, insight, and understanding of business concepts, tools, and processes that are needed for making sound decisions in the context of the company’s business; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.
    2. Experience working with diverse countries specially South Asian Countries
    3. Demonstrated leadership capability & ability to work with diverse set of people, resources & environment
    4. Experience with design and implementation of business development strategy
    5. Self motivated, proactive & execution oriented 
    6. Strong command in English language both written and speaking.
    7. Outstanding communication, presentation and leadership skills.
    8. Excellent organizational and time management skills.
    9. Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills.
