Shift: Standard (09:00 AM to 06:00 PM) from Monday to Friday

Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Accounting Lead | Finance  to join our talented team. We are looking for an individual who has worked on VAT, TDS and Tax compliance, cost mapping, cost control and monitoring related to IT products and services, having knowledge of FinOps, interdepartmental profitability analysis, product-wise and service-wise profitability analysis, foreign vendor payments, board reporting, have knowledge and worked on contracts, transfer pricing compliance, DTAA, Salary processing (calculation of Tax, SSF, CIT & Bonus), dealt with internal and external auditors. Having experience working in a systematic environment with well-defined company policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all departments and critical business functions.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Conduct a full audit of existing books across all entities to establish a highly professional and complete accounting data
• Own the end-to-end accounting cycle including AP, AR, payroll, and reconciliations
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards across UK, Nepal and other jurisdictions
• Design and own the monthly close process with clear timelines and ownership
• Produce accurate month-end management accounts and financial reports
• Build a consolidated view of financials across all entities and geographies
• Evaluate and implement cloud accounting software as needed
• Automate manual workflows to reduce error and improve efficiency
• Define and document end-to-end accounting processes and SOPs
• Establish internal controls, approval workflows, and audit trails
• Build scalable processes that can grow with the business
• Proactively surface financial risks and propose solutions

Skills and Qualifications

• ESSENTIAL

• Strong command of accounting fundamentals (accruals, deferrals, reconciliation, GAAP awareness)
• Hands-on experience running finance operations in a multi-entity or cross-border environment
• Proven ability to own the full month-end close cycle independently
• Experience working with multiple accounting systems
• Self-directed, proactive, and comfortable with ambiguity

• PREFERRED

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline (not essential — equivalent experience welcomed)
• Professional qualification (CA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
• Familiarity with UK and Nepal regulatory and tax requirements
• Experience with tools such as Xero, QuickBooks, or similar cloud platforms
• Background in a startup or scale-up setting
