Reports to: Marketing Officer

Location: Bakhundole, Lalitpur, Nepal

Shift: Standard (09:00 AM to 06:00 PM) from Monday to Friday

Position Overview

The Event Management Intern will be an integral part of the marketing and corporate communications team, assisting in the planning, coordination, and execution of internal and external events. This role requires a highly organized, enthusiastic, and proactive individual with a strong interest in event planning, logistics management, and stakeholder coordination.

The Event Management Intern is expected to work closely with various teams and vendors, ensuring seamless event operations while delivering engaging and impactful experiences for both internal and external audiences. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication, multitasking, and organizational skills, along with a flexible and positive attitude.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Event Planning and Coordination:

    • Assist in the conceptualization, planning, and execution of corporate events, workshops, webinars, employee engagement activities, and training programs.

    • Support in coordinating event logistics including venue booking, vendor management, catering, transportation, and audio-visual arrangements.

    • Prepare event documentation including checklists, itineraries, guest lists, and briefing notes.

    • Support in the creation of event promotional materials in coordination with the graphic design and content teams.

    On-site/Event Day Support:

    • Provide on-site/event day support for event setup, registration, logistics, and audience management.

    • Assist with coordination between vendors, technical teams, and event participants.

    • Ensure smooth event flow by managing schedules, audience queries, and logistical adjustments.

    Marketing and Communication:

    • Support in the preparation of event-related social media content, announcements, and internal communications.

    • Assist in post-event communications including thank you notes, feedback forms, and event reports.

    Documentation and Reporting:

    • Maintain comprehensive records of events including budgets, vendor contacts, attendance, and feedback.

    Assist in preparing event performance reports and post-event analysis.

Skills and Qualifications
        • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
        • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
        • Proficiency in G-Suite(Google Doc, Google Slide, Google Sheet)
        • Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments.
        • Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative, team-oriented attitude.
        • Creativity and problem-solving skills in managing unforeseen event challenges.
        • Familiarity with event management tools and platforms is a plus.

    Additional Qualifications

    • Positive, can-do attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
    • Eagerness to contribute ideas for event concepts and engagement activities.
    • Flexible with work hours, especially during event days.

    Education Requirements

    Bachelor’s degree (running or completed) in Event Management, Hospitality Management, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
