FINANCE ASSOCIATE
Join Genese as a Finance Associate and manage billing, revenue reconciliation, and accounts receivable in a fast-growing global ICT company. Work with cross-functional teams, ensure financial accuracy, support compliance, and gain exposure to international operations while building a strong foundation in finance and business operations.

Location: Bakhundole, Lalitpur 44600, Nepal (On-site)
Shift: Standard (09:00 AM to 06:00 PM) from Monday to Friday
Position Overview
The role is responsible for managing billing, revenue reconciliation, and accounts receivable processes to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting. It involves verifying revenue through regular reconciliations, aligning invoices with contractual terms, and resolving discrepancies efficiently.
The position also includes overseeing collections, tracking outstanding balances, and coordinating with internal teams for proper revenue classification. Additionally, the role supports month-end and year-end closing activities and ensures compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements, including documentation for international payments.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate billing of all clients based on actual usage/consumption.
- Reconcile monthly sales data with the accounting and billing systems to ensure the accuracy of revenue reporting.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in billing, payments, and sales reports; escalate issues with proper documentation and clarity if needed.
- Update and manage invoice data in structured trackers.
- Ensure invoices are aligned with contracts and approvals.
- Coordinate with Sales for revenue classification (MRR, upsell, cross-sell).
- Prepare and maintain accounts receivable aging reports.
- Track till-date outstanding balances accurately.
- Record and reconcile collections (cash, bank, online, cheque).
- Perform bank, vendor, and client reconciliations.
- Follow up on overdue invoices and coordinate recovery actions.
- Flag high-risk or long-outstanding receivables to management.
- Handle invoice corrections, cancellations, and adjustments properly.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Prepare foreign vendor payment documents and related compliance documentation to support international payments.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls.
- Perform any other tasks assigned by the line manager.
Skill and Qualifications
- Task Related skills and Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting/ finance
- Strong analytical skills for cost computation, pricing strategies, and financial reconciliation.
- Competencies and Soft Skills
- Ability to identify, report, and mitigate risks associated with product licensing.
- Skill in developing and executing pricing strategies aligned with product and market objectives.
- Effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and providing visibility for margin growth through continuous offer behavior analysis.
- Negotiating product pricing and contracts with vendors to optimize costs.
- Identifying and implementing cost-saving measures to enhance financial efficiency.
- Keen attention to detail, particularly in purchase order, payment verification, and financial reconciliation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective negotiation and documentation.
- Ability to identify issues, propose solutions, and implement corrective measures.
- Willingness to take on additional responsibilities and adapt to evolving business needs.
- Understanding of legal requirements and compliance in contract drafting and management.
- Familiarity with relevant financial software and tools for efficient financial operations.
