FINOPS ASSOCIATE
We are looking for a FinOps Associate to join our team and work closely with the Product Manager to address product-related issues and enhancements. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing customer licenses, ensuring timely renewals, and maintaining accurate customer and contract records. The role also involves proactively contacting customers for timely payments, preparing purchase orders and quotations, analyzing product consumption trends, identifying cost-saving measures, drafting contract templates, and performing revenue reconciliation to optimize financial efficiency.

Location: Jhamsikhel, Lalitpur 44600, Nepal
Shift: Standard (09:00 AM to 06:00 PM) from Monday to Friday
Position Overview
The Finops associate will collaborate closely with the Product Manager to address product-related issues and enhancements. He/she shall be responsible for monitoring and managing customer licenses for timely renewal, maintaining accurate records of customers and contracts, and proactively contacting customers to ensure timely payments. Additionally, the role involves preparing purchase orders and quotations, analyzing product consumption trends, identifying cost-saving measures, drafting contract templates, and performing revenue reconciliation.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Liaising with Product Manager for product-related issues
- Track Customer license for renewal
- Keeping an accurate record of customers along with their executed contracts.
- Consistently contacting customers to monitor payments for sold products.
- Preparation of Purchase order and quotation
- Product consumption by customer and reason for declining consumption
- Identify and implement cost-saving measures
- Drafting contracts template for products and amendments as required
- Reconciliation of cost incurred v/s sales revenue for all the products
- Assist with regular accounts and finance operations, including accounts payable/receivable, reconciliation, and financial reporting.
- Other tasks assigned by the line manager
Skills and Qualifications
- Task-Related Skills and Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized institution; additional qualifications such as an LLM or MBA would be advantageous.
- At least 4 years of relevant experience in a legal and compliance role, preferably in the technology or IT services industry.
- Deep understanding of Nepalese legal principles and regulations; familiarity with international legal standards is a plus.
- Competencies and Soft Skills
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proven track record of managing legal and compliance issues in a corporate setting.
- Ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
