GLOBAL FINANCE MANAGER
Join Genese Solution as a Global Finance Manager and take the lead in managing our multinational financial operations. In this role, you will oversee global financial reporting, taxation, compliance, cash flow, and intercompany coordination aligned with our UK headquarters. Position Overview
The Global Finance Manager will play a critical role in supporting Genese Solutions’ global financial operations. This position involves overseeing financial reporting, regulatory compliance, cash flow management, and intercompany coordination for the Global entity, while ensuring full alignment with UK HQ standards. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to operate effectively within a multinational financial structure.
The Finance Manager will act as the key financial person in maintaining operations, providing timely insights to leadership, ensuring accurate and compliant financial practices, and contributing to the company’s overall financial strategy.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Interview people who don’t speak your language. For example, engineers, designers, sales teams, and customers. And yet you’ll pull out the insights you need by asking the right questions.
- Own the content journey. From idea to research to writing to publishing, you’ll drive the entire process.
- Repurpose ideas across formats. Blog posts, infographics, whitepapers, websites, newsletters, LinkedIn posts, social media, you’ll shape stories that work wherever they land.
- Pair words with visuals. Use Canva or similar tools to make content visually engaging.
Skills and Qualifications
1. Financial Reporting & Compliance
- Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial reports for global office, including:
- Cash inflows and outflows
- Profit & Loss summaries
- Financial performance insights and variance analysis
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Ensure compliance with taxation framework, including:
- Income tax, corporate tax, VAT filings
- Payroll and statutory employee contributions
- Annual audits and statutory reporting
- Maintain accurate accounting records, including ledgers, vouchers, and internal documentation in line with internal audit and statutory requirements.
2. Cash Flow & Intercompany Coordination
- Monitor cash movements between global office operations to ensure accurate reconciliation.
- Prepare cash flow forecasts for global offices, highlighting risks, liquidity issues, and opportunities for optimization.
- Manage intercompany transactions, including:
- Recording cross-border payments accurately
- Resolving discrepancies promptly.
3. Operational Finance Management
- Review and optimize major expenses, accounts receivable, and accounts payable processes.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes for the global entity, providing insights for global financial planning.
- Identify potential tax risks, compliance issues, and financial irregularities, and recommend corrective actions.
- Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and internal control mechanisms.
4. Collaboration & Leadership

- Serve as the primary finance liaison between Nepal , UK and other global teams, ensuring smooth intercompany operations.
- Provide financial insights, monthly performance updates, and analysis to leadership.
- Assist in strengthening internal controls and digital finance adoption, including ERP systems, dashboards, and tools like Power BI.
- Mentor and guide junior finance staff, ensuring best practices in accounting and compliance are followed.

Skills and Qualifications:
Skills
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, financial regulations in Nepal and UK
- Proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting
- Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and compliance
- Leadership and collaboration skills to work effectively across teams
- Adaptability to digital finance systems and automation tools
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CA/ACCA will be given additional preference.
- 4–6+ years of relevant finance experience, preferably in multinational or multi-entity environments
- Strong understanding of Nepali and UK taxation, VAT, corporate accounting standards, and statutory reporting requirements
- Experience with ERP/accounting tools such as QuickBooks, Xero, Oracle NetSuite, Tally or similar
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage cross-border finance teams
