Position Overview
The Sr. Officer | Vendor Finance will be responsible for managing end-to-end vendor financials, including OEM and vendor payments, invoice reconciliation, profitability analysis, pricing structures, and vendor financing support. The role ensures accurate commercial governance, margin protection, and timely financial reporting across all vendor engagements.
Roles and Responsibilities
Vendor Payments and Invoice Management
- Track, verify, and reconcile OEM and vendor invoices against purchase orders, contracts, and internal approvals
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of payments to OEMs and vendors
- Maintain detailed records of invoices, credit notes, payments, and outstanding balances
- Coordinate with finance and procurement teams to resolve discrepancies and payment issues.
Pricing and Profitability Management
- Prepare and validate product pricing, bundles, discounts, and commercial structures for OEM and vendor offerings
- Analyze deal-level and product-level profitability and margins
- Monitor cost changes from OEMs and assess the impact on existing and future pricing
- Support sales teams with pricing inputs, margin validation, and deal approvals
Reporting and Analysis
- Prepare regular reports on vendor spend, outstanding payables, margins, and profitability
- Track invoice aging, payment status, and vendor exposure
- Provide management with insights on pricing trends, margin leakage, and commercial risks
- Support monthly and quarterly financial reviews with accurate vendor data
Vendor Financing and Commercial Governance
- Support vendor financing models, credit terms, payment cycles, and reconciliations
- Ensure compliance with OEM commercial policies, discount structures, and contractual terms
- Assist in commercial negotiations by providing data-backed pricing and cost analysis
- Maintain pricing documentation, rate cards, and approval matrices
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Work closely with Sales, Finance, Procurement, and Operations teams to ensure commercial accuracy
- Act as a single point of contact for vendor commercial queries and clarifications
- Support audits by providing required vendor and pricing documentation.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
- 3–5 years of experience in vendor management, pricing, commercial operations, or finance roles
- Strong understanding of OEM pricing, reseller margins, discounts, and commercial structures
- Experience in invoice reconciliation, payables tracking, and profitability analysis
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP or accounting systems is a strong advantage
- High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Key Job-related Conceptual Skills:
- Work closely with Sales, Finance, Procurement, and Operations teams to ensure commercial accuracy
- Act as a single point of contact for vendor commercial queries and clarifications
- Support audits by providing required vendor and pricing documentation
