Designation: Associate Marketing Officer
Reports to: Brand Manager
Location: Bakhundole, Lalitpur 44600, Nepal
Shift: Standard (09:00 AM to 06:00 PM) from Monday to Friday
Position Overview
Genese Solution, a UK-based value IT consulting company, is seeking a passionate and self-motivated individual to join our team as an Associate Marketing Officer. This role involves creating marketing content, assisting in event execution, supporting PR activities, and ensuring brand consistency across communications.
Working closely with the Brand Manager and cross-functional teams, the Associate Marketing Officer will help deliver impactful campaigns and events that enhance brand visibility and stakeholder engagement.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Write and edit marketing content including event invitations, social media posts, blogs, PR notes, brochures, and email campaigns
- Support event planning and execution: coordination with internal teams, vendors, speakers, and partners
- Assist with PR and communications, including drafting press releases, maintaining media lists, and coordinating outreach
- Coordinate with design and marketing teams to ensure timely delivery of creatives and collateral
- Manage event logistics support such as registrations, attendee communication, checklists, and run-of-show documentation
- Support brand compliance by following approval workflows and maintaining quality standards
- Track and report on content, campaign, and event performance
- Handle ad-hoc marketing and brand initiatives as assigned by the Brand & Events lead
Skills and Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing / Communications / Journalism / Business / PR / Media (or equivalent experience)
- Certifications (nice to have): HubSpot, Google Digital Garage, Meta Blueprint, basic SEO/content courses
Experience: 1–3 years in marketing/communications/events/brand (agency or in-house)
Special Demands of the Job:
- Occasional evening/weekend work during events
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and last-minute changes
- Travel within city/region if required for event execution
- Must be comfortable coordinating with senior stakeholders and external partners
Expected Skills:

- Strong business writing (web, email, LinkedIn, press release, event copy)
- Event execution support: checklists, vendor follow-up, onsite coordination, attendee handling
- PR support: press notes, media list coordination, outreach follow-ups, stakeholder messaging
- Basic brand discipline (tone of voice, consistent formatting, approvals)
- Comfortable with tools: Google Workspace / MS Office, Canva (or basic design coordination), task trackers
- Strong coordination, deadlines, attention to detail

- Copywriting: blogs, landing pages, case studies, event invites, brochures, press releases
- Social content: LinkedIn post frameworks, captions, content calendars
- Event operations: run-of-show support, registration tracking, RSVP follow-up, vendor coordination
- PR operations: media list handling, press release formatting, basic outreach scripts
- Basic reporting: event performance summary, content performance tracking (engagement, clicks)
- Document discipline: briefs, checklists, version control, approval workflows

- Campaign thinking: before–during–after event content plan
