Position Overview
The Senior Associate | Sales & BD will be responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, managing key client accounts, and leading the sales cycle from prospecting to closing. This role involves strategic market analysis and building long-term partnerships to achieve the company’s expansion targets.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and prospect new business leads through various channels.
- Present and demonstrate the company’s services/products to potential clients.
- Negotiate contract terms and deals to meet expansion goals.
- Collaborate with the cross departments to align sales strategies with product offerings.
- Manage and update the CRM database regularly to ensure data integrity and track sales progress.
Key Expectations of the Role:
- Achievement of monthly and quarterly sales revenue targets.
- Number of new high-value accounts acquired.
- Lead-to-customer conversion rate improvement.
Key Job-related Conceptual Skills:
- Proficiency in MS-Office Suite, Google Workspace (Google Docs, Sheets, Slides etc), and LinkedIn
Desired Personality/Behavioral Trait:
- Self-motivated, target-driven, resilient, proactive, and a strong team player with high emotional intelligence.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
- Strong negotiation skills, lead generation, CRM management, excellent presentation and communication skills, and relationship management.
- Previous experience in B2B sales and familiarity with cloud solutions or digital transformation services
- Frequent travel for client meetings and availability for networking events outside of standard office hours
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in NLP, Generative AI, or deep learning models.
- Knowledge of Big Data ecosystems such as Hadoop, Trino, or MinIO.
- Understanding of AI ethics, bias mitigation, and responsible AI principles.
- Prior experience in the financial or banking sector is a plus.
